What people don’t understand is that if you actually listen to Durins story quest and nahidas words on “Stories are metaphors for real history” thing in sumeru aq. Simulanka was the “Womb” that developed durin and he was born or “brought to teyvat in a physical form” only about a year ago in chronologically. He was born during simulanka and reborn during paralogism. If you argue that hes 500 because of simulanka your dead wrong by all accounts and purposes Baby Durin is as Dead as Dragonspine Durin and Human Durin is a completely different entity reborn from both of their essence. Thats EXACTLY like saying “Officer its ok that shes 12 years old, she died at 45 in her last life and has all her memories.” Is it morally right? HELL NO

It’s crazy people say he’s not a child when one of the most present themes in his character is him feeling the need to act more mature, because he’s not in the body of a young child. He clearly displays the curiosity, playfulness and naivety of a child. Not a teenager, a child, that wants to play in puddles. His birthday post even spells it out for people.
