Exhausts have to be one of the most overrated motorcycle modifications out there. People spend hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars replacing a perfectly good exhaust just to make their bike obnoxiously loud for minimal performance gains. Don't get me wrong, a good sounding bike is one thing, but there's a difference between sounding good and being downright annoying. Nobody wants to listen to your bike screaming from three blocks away, especially when you're barely moving. At some point, it stops sounding impressive and just becomes irritating. Louder doesn't mean faster, and it sure as hell doesn't mean better.
