Solar isnt even economically viable in NY. Current tech isnt there. To be viable and compete with wide scale power producers you need 32%+ efficiency panels when at best we are producing 28%

is the problem with grid reliability during a flood? i think it may be unwise to build there but maybe they could put the inverters themselves on stilts or some thing and ensure the panels are above waterline 🤷♂️.
