SUGAR LAND, TEXAS, USA — A dispute over cheering at a youth softball game reportedly escalated into a physical fight at Imperial Park, leaving one man unconscious and leading to the arrests of a husband and wife, according to court records. Police responded to the park on Saturday, October 24, after a confrontation involving Kiarious Hall and two other men. According to court documents, Hall was cheering for his daughter’s team when one man, identified in reports as Gary Greaser, confronted him about cheering before a pitch. Another man, identified as Robert Olsen, later joined the argument. Investigators reviewed witness-recorded video that reportedly showed Hall swinging a metal water bottle and striking Olsen in the face. Olsen fell and lost consciousness. The footage also reportedly showed Hall swinging the bottle at Greaser before a physical fight broke out. Hall told police that the men had “elbowed and poked his chest” and said he acted in self-defense. However, court records state that the video shown to officers did not appear to show that contact. Court documents also allege Hall’s wife, Jazmine Hall, joined the fight and threw punches. Bystanders eventually intervened. Olsen was taken to a hospital with a head injury, while the other man reportedly suffered cuts to his face, chin, arms and knees. Both Kiarious Hall and Jazmine Hall were arrested. Jazmine Hall was charged with misdemeanor assåult causing bodily injury. The affidavit cited by KPRC did not specify a charge against Kiarious Hall. Lamar Consolidated Independent School District confirmed that Jazmine Hall worked at Lamar Junior High School and voluntarily reported the incident to the district. The district said the incident happened outside school and was unrelated to a school-sponsored event. She resigned from her position effective Monday, October 26. The allegations are documented in court records; the case details do not by themselves establish guilt. #SugarLandTexasUSA #KiariousHall #JazmineHall #GaryGreaserRobertOlsen #japd
