My wife has debit/credit cards to my business. She doesn’t use them regularly but there are those situations where she is running to a store (ex:Costco) and I ask her pick something business related up for me.

Off topic but you should have a back up plan for someone to take care of things if tomorrow something happens and you are unable to handle things. Example a medical condition that leaves you disabled in anyway

Depending on the corporate structure, that could potentially be illegal.

It’s a business account, Not her money. Yes she owns the company and she can spend it how she wants, but it’s spent on the business. Unless they run it together, there is no need for it

My partner & I run a business together, AND he has a 2nd business that’s solely his. I do not have any access to his second business because it’s not mine. I have 50% ownership of our joint business. So no, don’t give him any financial access or joint ownership. Sounds like he’s in financial trouble to me

My husband and I are both self employed. He does not have a debit card for my business but I do have one for his business because I do go and pick up parts and stuff for him.

Yeah the information should be shared but no need for access.

No. The answer is no. Not legally. Not tax-wise. No, no, no. Especially if he needs it because his business is failing. He needs to disclose everything to her and get himself right.

this is way too deep for a simple answer but imo no. But also you should help each other too grow but at the same time dont try to fix a sinking ship. but you both should feel comfortable asking for help. but keyword ask not just be able to take

We have a business where I do ALL the work, (I buy & sell art). But, I have no access to the money in the bank account. Because, it would ALL dissappear 😁 But, if I ask for any, I'm given it. But, it is BEST that I'm NOT AWARE exactly how much is in there at any given time. Because I KNOW... I have NO self control 😂 & He's the REASON this business is so successful 😎

It’s a business account. Unless he is working for the company he has no reason to have a debit or credit card linked to her business.

Absolutely not...Always have your own. You don't need a joint account to pay bills together.
