ALEXANDER ALLPORT FROM HALIFAX SENTENCED AT BRADFORD CROWN COURT In 2021, Alexander Allport, a then-37-year-old man from Halifax, was jailed for four years and four months after pleading guilty to making and distributing hundreds of indecent images and videos of children. Alexander Allport, of Canterbury Crescent, Halifax, appeared at Bradford Crown Court via video link from HMP Leeds for sentencing after admitting multiple counts of making and distributing indecent images of children. The court heard that West Yorkshire Police officers first raided Allport's home in May 2017, seizing devices containing hundreds of Category A, B, and C images and movies—including material depicting the rape of babies—which he shared with 18 other users in an online chatroom. Despite being released under investigation, police raided his address again in February 2021 and May 2021, finding hundreds more illegal images, prohibited cartoon material, and evidence that he was chatting online to children and other offenders.
