@chinaembireland: On October 25, 1971, the 26th session of the United Nations General Assembly voted on the question of restoring the lawful rights of the People's Republic of China in the United Nations. The resolution was ultimately adopted with 76 votes in favor, 35 against, and 17 abstentions, affirming that there is only one China in the world and that the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legal representative of the whole of China, including Taiwan. #China #UN #OneChina
