@earthsignalofficial: 🇧🇷 BRAZIL ELECTION DISPUTE: BOLSONARO SEEKS TO CHALLENGE LULA’S VICTORY 📍 October 26, 2026 | Brasília, Brazil Brazil’s presidential election has entered a new phase after Senator Flávio Bolsonaro refused to concede defeat to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Bolsonaro announced plans to seek annulment of the October 25 runoff, questioning a Supreme Court decision that extended voting hours by two hours at polling stations that remained open. According to Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court (TSE), the announced results are: 🔴 LULA: 51.79% — 64,256,232 votes 🔵 FLÁVIO BOLSONARO: 48.21% — 59,826,041 votes The voting extension followed reports of transportation difficulties. Both campaigns had requested additional voting time, citing different circumstances. ⚖️ IMPORTANT: An announced legal challenge does not invalidate the election. The TSE has officially announced Lula’s reelection, and no annulment has been confirmed.
