I choked in a hair clip in kindergarten and my teacher just sat there and watched. Thankfully I was able to get it out myself, but she had the audacity to say "you know better than to put that in your mouth." Okay SUSAN I could have DIED wtf. All that to say, I'm not sure a single teacher is trained to notice the signs of choking. They might take ONE cpr class in college but that's it.

If you work with human beings in general, you need to know infant/child CPR and adult CPR!!! CPR is so easy to learn as is the Heimlich maneuver!!!

I am so mad. It could have been anyone's kid at that school that day. Other parents there need to be more pissed. No one is taking accountability for this situation. All the adults that failed her that day should be fired.
