When I was young, it was essentially socially unacceptable to talk about politics or religion outside of your household. Before the internet gave the wrong people the validation and confidence they don’t deserve. We could like anyone we wanted without someone asking if they match up with your political views. I miss those days.

Here's the thing. The left hates everyone that doesn't align with them politically so they think that the right thinks like them. I don't care what someone's political beliefs are, I care about what they are. IE if they are a singer and they sing good and keep thier mouth shut about politics. I'll continue to listen to them.
