Thank you for talking about this! My stroke symptoms were not the usual ones. I had difficulty doing things in order and getting frustrated with the steps. I also had missed or confused words, but was still coherent. I had a part where I couldn't hear omnidirectionally, I couldn't tell which one of my kids was speaking in the back seat of the car. no balance issues, no facial drooping. when I got to the ER, I couldn't read in English, only Spanish (i am not fluent in Spanish, but know spanish enough to read it). I was 39 when this happened. I thought I knew what to look for (I checked my smile multiple times in the mirror). My dad had multiple strokes in his 50's and 60's. My strokes weren't related to his.
