After getting my hopes up with the last election I don’t have it in me anymore to even think positive about this election. I feel this dread of defeat just lingering.

Everyday, when I look at the numbers they are overwhelming Seniors and then decrease by age group. Young people may be turning out more than normally but 65 and older is still around 60 percent. I’m hoping that changes in the upcoming days.

I think we need to heal after the midterms. I think we need to forget both sides and start thinking as Americans we’ve got different parties. That’s fine for elections but all they are doing is creating division.

Based on a commanding majority in the house and a moderate majority in the Senate, it will be interesting to see what dynamics play out between Congress and the executive branch . Trump will try to rule by executive orders from here on, I’m sure.
