I understand you, but I hope you are going to the right dentist. I had to have 16 teeth worked on because it had been 10 years since I went to a dentist, I payed less then 800$ on all of the work due to changing insurance companies 2x and finding the right dentist who specializes in restoration and endodontics. They did all of the work without any root canals or crowns. Just 4 extractions (all broken teeth) and 12 fillings. A lot of dentists will sell you root canals you don’t actually need and it’s hard to find proper care.
