hii, planned parenthood bases the cost on your individual income, so if she explains that she doesn’t receive financial support from her family, she may qualify for a lower cost or financial assistance with the abortion pills. at the end of the day, it’s healthcare. they also generally won’t share her medical information with her family without her consent, because her privacy is protected by law

Abortion is not easy to go through, if she can handle that decision by all means do it! Especially without the parents help. She may deal with guilt or regret afterwards tho so be there for her. There is no right or wrong answer unless you think her parents would hurt her or kick her out if they found out.

How old is your friend and which state? People saying you don’t need consent are not 100% correct. Only a handful of states allow minors to get an abortion. Encourage her to talk to her parents. She eventually has to if she can’t access SAFE abortion.

depending on the state you guys are in, you can make a virtual appointment through the PP app and get abortion medication that way. her parents would not need to know and she wouldnt even need to leave her house since they would be sent to her.
