@theinteriordesignshow: We toured a beautiful two-bedroom apartment in Battersea with Amalia Boier (@amaliaboier.studio), where bespoke interiors meet a softer, brighter way of living. Designed as a home away from home for Amalia's client, this apartment presented a particular challenge: limited natural light and an unusual layout. Amalia worked with the existing architecture, refreshing the curved kitchen with lighter finishes and bringing the living area together through rounded furniture, marble accents and richly textured wallpapers. Every room has its own details to discover, from the study nook finished in bird’s-eye maple veneer to the guest bedroom’s layered fabrics and the principal suite, which feels considerably more spacious and light-filled than before. Even the bathrooms have been reimagined, with new showers, tactile tiles and bespoke embroidered towels. In our latest Behind The Design, Amalia shares how she approached the renovation and created a home that feels both personal and practical, with the apartment’s wonderful river views.
