@the.dandelion.diaries: People say that salt air is therapy. And I believe that to be true. But, has anyone considered the power of a beautiful sky? It's the one thing that is around you wherever you may go. I've spent plenty of nights looking for the beauty of sunsets. And plenty of days admiring the blue skies. There's a kind of peace that the stillness of a pretty sky brings that I can't explain. Through my journey or grief, the sky has somehow brought such healing to my soul. Maybe it's the idea that my loved ones live on. Maybe it's the quiet I find when my mind feels loud. Maybe it's the art painted right in front of me, as if it's a gift from those I love. Or, maybe it's just nature's way of providing beauty on the darkest days. Regardless, the sky always changes. But the sky is always beautiful. Life can still be beautiful even when change is present. Even when it hurts. Just like the changing sky doesn't lose it's beauty in a storm, the joy of life doesn't stop just because there's a little rain. It's okay to find your joy again. Especially after grief. Give yourself the space the carry both grief and joy.
