@7.news.watertown: Jefferson Community College has opened its new $11.5 million mechatronics lab in Watertown, designed to train students for advanced-manufacturing and semiconductor careers. The lab includes robotics, hydraulics and other high-tech equipment meant to prepare future equipment technicians — including workers needed at Micron’s planned semiconductor facility near Syracuse. Micron has invested $750,000 in the program, and JCC hopes to launch official programs next fall. 📰: https://www.wwnytv.com/2026/10/23/jccs-new-lab-where-microns-future-workforce-gets-built/ #JCC #Micron #SemiconductorJobs #WatertownNY #NorthCountryNY
