@pawswithgracee: 🚨 SISTER HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE FEBRUARY! 💔 Sister came into the shelter with Nelly back in February. Both girls were terrified when they arrived. Nelly is now safe in foster, but Sister is still waiting, and she’s really struggling with shelter life. 💔 I’ve seen how sweet and loving Sister can be once she’s out of that fight or flight mode. She just needs a quiet place to decompress, feel safe and learn that she doesn’t have to be scared anymore. She’s only 2 years old, and it breaks my heart that she’s spent so much of this year in a kennel. A rescue wants to help Sister, but they need a foster willing to open their home to her. 🤍 She doesn’t need someone to expect her to be perfect right away. She needs patience, understanding and a chance to finally relax. Please share Sister. Her sister got her second chance, and I want that so badly for her too. 📍 Barrow County Animal Control | Winder, GA
