Yuji can chain blackflashes during that time, plus he BTA the fuck out of (I think) the copy of mahito, which could've still killed him even without idle transfiguration or I think the clone couldn't but still could change his own body. So if anyone wants to debate, let's do it. just for the record, if Yuji was fighting the real mahito, I have no explanation. By the way, if you say "he had Sukuna" for one, sukuna hates yuji, so he would've let him kill yuji. for two, Mahito still had his 0.1 domain expansion. Plus, in that scene Mahito even said "Assuming I'm safe this time? You wont be able to switch in time, Sukuna" AND in that scene where Mahito was on the ground and Yuji was going kookoo crazy, Mahito MAY have been damaged, but he's special grade. Special grade is literally nation-level. He could've got up, but did he? no. he was in fear. Keep in mind, Mahito is a single-edged blade. if Yuji touches him, Mahito can't use idle transfiguration.
