@alexandermaddie: I’ve seen so many of your comments asking if we’re still together. I know so many of you have supported us and watched our relationship over the past four years. I originally posted about it on my backup account which ended up reaching a lot of you, so I wanted to come on here and address it, too. Yes, we did break up. I know I don’t owe anyone an explanation, but I also know how many of you have been a part of our journey over the years, and I want to thank you for all the love and support you’ve shown us. This is a mutual decision, and there are truly no hard feelings. We love and adore each other very much, and that hasn’t changed. This past year has brought a lot of change and some really difficult seasons for both of us. We’ve both grown and experienced so much, and as hard as it is, we’ve reached a point in our lives where we need to focus on ourselves individually. Sometimes you can love someone with everything in you and still recognize that, right now, the timing just isn’t right for you to do life together. I will always be grateful for every memory, every adventure, every laugh, and every little moment we’ve had together. She is genuinely the most amazing person I’ve ever met, so beautiful inside and out, and someone I will always love and respect. She has shown me what true love feels like, and I will never regret the life we’ve shared or a single adventure that brought us to where we are today. These past four years, our families have become family. There is so much love between all of us that goes far beyond our relationship. I will always be grateful for those bonds we’ve built. I truly believe that if we’re meant to find our way back to each other, God will bring us back together in His timing. Neither of us knows what the future holds, but I know the love we have for each other is real, and I’m choosing to trust His plan even when it’s hard to understand. For now, we’re just taking things one day at a time and allowing life to unfold the way it’s supposed to. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time and give both of us the space to navigate something that is really difficult and personal.
