@lyricsmusiconcertss: Kendrick made a song about protecting your peace while the whole world is trying to get your attention. 🧘🏽‍♂️🖤 “Rich Spirit” dropped in 2022 on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and it captures a side of Kendrick that goes beyond the usual conversations about fame, money and rap competition. He’s questioning who deserves access to him, calling out fake energy and trying to stay grounded in a world where everybody wants something from you. The production from Sounwave, DJ Dahi and Frano gives the track its hypnotic feel. That minimal, almost playful bounce makes the song sound effortless, while Kendrick’s lyrics carry a much more serious message about boundaries, ego and keeping your integrity when success changes the way people treat you. And the music video takes that feeling even further. Directed by Calmatic, it shows Kendrick alone in a huge, empty house, dancing, praying and moving through the silence. All that space, but still no real sense of connection. That contrast says a lot without needing to spell everything out. 📈 Chart performance: “Rich Spirit” peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 85 on the UK Official Singles Chart. It also reached No. 13 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. @kendricklamar Follow @lyricsmusiconcerts for more. #fyp #music #lyrics
