game winning drives in games that aren’t shootouts are a dumb stat. if they didn’t suck in other drives the game winning drive wouldn’t be needed

Honestly, at this point I like the one kickoff suggestion where the “kicking” team just gets the ball on 4th and 15 from their own 20 (give or take 5 yards from one of those numbers). Replace the onside kick with an offensive play and the kickoff with a punt.

When Aaron Glenn was the Lions DC, he said he doesn't believe in halftime adjustments, it was just a buzzword. And we always struggled in the second half. Now our defense struggles the whole game but just saying, I'm not surprised they have crappy 2nd halves.
