I agree certain women don’t understand, if u want a traditional man, you also have to play your part.

No. Expecting her to always serve him food at home, regardless of how she feels about it, is slavery. Of course, expecting him to always carry her bag, regardless of how he feels about it, is also slavery. It works both ways.

In the original txt women are described as an ezer partner which means strong and powerful and ezer is also used to describe god in the same txt but man couldn’t handle it so they changed it to feel powerful. Make that make sense

Here’s a crazy thought, relationships should be 50/50. My boyfriend and I take turns with everything, there’s no specific roles. Everyone’s so worried about “men do this,” “women do that,” when you should be worried about how you can do things together to make it work.

It's over dude. She ain't going backwards. That cooking and cleaning is on its way out, as a whole. Time to come to terms. Serve yourself. Food is ready. And you can carry the bag or not. Up to you. !!

I'm not understanding what the issue is. Maybe I grew up at a different time, im 48. What's the big deal with cooking and cleaning when you're married vs single? A married woman has to eat and it's just as easy to cook for 2 as it is for 1. Same with cleaning the house. I'd have to clean the house if I was single the same as I do if I was living with my husband.

Carrying a bag is romantic and so is cooking for someone. It doesn’t matter what it is but if it’s for your partner, it’s romantic

I have no problem cooking for my husband or serving him his plate. I would… and HAVE gotten up at 2am to cook for him. Then he puts me back to sleep with a foot massage. Because we serve EACHOTHER. [Heartwarming]
