We had a $10 limit (govt employees). I got a hand crocheted, stuffed octopus cat toy…catnip included. It was almost as large as my cat and she carried it around for months. I had gotten them some magnets and a picture frame. Oh.🥺

we had a $50 budget and my coworker got a set of coasters (something she doesn’t use) when she went to exchange them for something else they gave her a credit of $6.99 the price of the coasters.

I remember I thought my gift to a secret Santa was cute but apparently wasn't. It was a glass Christmas cup filled with candy, a little lotion, and a gift card. I think i even went over the price limit of $15 and when she got the gift loudly said 'this isn't a gift, who got this for me'. I was like OK, never doing secret Santa again
