Whenever I talk about cheating people keep telling me I’m wrong, like it’s basic pattern recognition? If it was just about them finding someone else attractive they would leave. Staying with you offers them something. They want you involved in the cheating for some reason. That reason varies situation by situation but objectively you are always involved

So cheaters are typically very insecure people they because they don’t feel like there enough they want to get validation from other people they want to make sure other people find them attractive because they don’t have anything within themselves to regulate. They don’t have an internal self.. They also win a date someone they view out of their league or better than them. They start to resent them. They wanna knock them off their pedestal that they put them on in their head so they cheat same thing with the person. They’re fine as a fair partner typically, they’re the same kind of insecure And they both wanna knock that other person off the pedestal because they believe that person is better than them it’s pathetic really but it explains the behaviour in my opinion to me.

this is true. to add on the fact, cheaters actually never regret cheating. they just regret getting caught. however, after they’re caught and there’s nothing to lose, they still continue the relationship with that person and go even harder since the cats out of the bag.

No, literally as someone who has gotten cheated on like multiple times at some point you have to just wake up and realize like hey that person was literally taking joy in hurting you hell hurting you and keeping it a secret from you is what made the affair more exciting to them like the fact that you were insecure and you’re hurting and you’re constantly asking for reassurance all that does is make them wanna go screw their affair, partner even more like I’ve seen people say oh my God, the woman who your husband cheats with is innocent she didn’t know she doesn’t owe you anything and it’s like but most time they do know and most time they take joy in the fact that they’re ruining your life.

an ex of mine turned out to have cheated on his last ex with me, and on the ex before her with both of us. in all situations, he insisted on monogamy, but traveled and told people he was “casually dating” and cheated with whoever he could. he just wanted you to remain loyal while he did whatever he wanted.
