@jayciesdiary: having this little friend grow on my face has been a very interesting experience !! besides the pain and the stress, feeling like you no longer look like yourself and losing confidence is quite difficult to navigate at first, I didn’t want to leave the house. it felt scary and I thought everyone was looking at me. I knew deep down they didn’t care and wouldn’t think of me any differently, but naturally, we’re all our own harshest critics, and it’s very normal to feel unnerved by change. by the end, I saw people staring, and I couldn’t care less. most of the time, it’s inquisitive, and if they are judging, it’s a reflection on them, not me. I also know it’s not really that bad, and I can get it removed and feel like myself again. a lot of people cannot, and for that, I feel a whole new level of understanding. anyways, I hope this makes one person feel a little less alone! and to my sebaceous cyst friends, I hope you feel seen!
