I was admitted in early January with pre-eclampsia. This hospital saved my life, and that of my 7 month gestation baby girl. We are both alive because of the incredible staff at this hospital.

They were set up to fail, it’s not the staff it’s the size and amount of hospitals, but it is appalling for a huge population.

The staff are amazing though. They looked after me so well when I had my tumor removed. On ward they are amazing. It’s not their fault they closed 2 major A&Es in the area, that were both bigger than this one.

The new a+e waiting room is an improvement but people are getting bloods and obs done in front of other patients the nhs is at breaking point it’s not the staff because they don’t stop it’s the higher ups make cuts at the top and fund the bottom
