@trojanszonefo: 5 THINGS WE LEARNED: #USC falls to 6–2 (3–2 Big Ten) following a disappointing 24–7 loss to Wisconsin. Before turning our attention to No. 2 Ohio State on Halloween night, here are five things we learned from Saturday’s defeat. • PRESSURE MOUNTS ON LINCOLN RILEY. The same problems continue to haunt USC. Offensive line struggles, poor execution, special teams mistakes, and a lack of physicality. At some point, the talent and resources must translate into results. • JAYDEN MAIAVA ISN’T INVINCIBLE. Maiava delivered arguably his worst performance of the season, completing 31 of 50 passes for 258 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Wisconsin’s pressure disrupted his rhythm throughout the night. • OFFENSIVE LINE REMAINS A CONCERN. USC was dominated in the trenches, finishing with -17 rushing yards while allowing five sacks. The Trojans simply cannot compete with the Big Ten’s elite without better offensive line play. • THE DEFENSE CAN’T DO EVERYTHING. Gary Patterson’s defense held Wisconsin to just 200 total yards and 58 passing yards. Unfortunately, USC’s offense couldn’t capitalize. The defense can only do so much without offensive support. • SPECIAL TEAMS STRUGGLES CONTINUE. Two missed field goal opportunities, including a blocked attempt, left valuable points on the field. Special teams remain a glaring weakness that USC must address. 📸: Icon Sportswire #football #CollegeFootball #nfl #fyp
