@hitchlife: 🚨🛢️ THIS ONE DOCUMENT CAN STOP AN ENTIRE OFFSHORE JOB FROM STARTING! If you're planning to work on an offshore oil rig, there's one important safety term you need to understand: Permit to Work (PTW). ⚠️ Before certain high-risk jobs, such as welding, confined-space entry, or specific maintenance tasks, hazards must be assessed and the required safety precautions put in place. 📋 A Permit to Work helps confirm: ✅ What work is authorized. ✅ Which hazards have been identified. ✅ What safety controls are required. ✅ Who must authorize and follow the procedure. 🔥 Here's what every beginner must remember: A permit doesn't automatically make a job safe. Workers must follow the controls, and work must stop if conditions become unsafe. 💬 Had you heard of a Permit to Work before watching this video?
