Vermont Otter :
The people who bought the house next door painted it “Joyful Orange”, a bright hue indeed. I am grateful, because it is helpful for delivery pros

can you make it mandatory that people turn their porch lights on so I can see at night?! and remind them house numbers must be visible (a law here in WA)

I drop the pin RIGHT at my door, have in the delivery notes that its the driveway with a white SUV & bike rack & have my front light on with clesrly visible house numbers....and the # of times it get delivered to a neighbor. My driveway is right at a T-intersection...its the only driveway on that intersection ...I reslly cant fathom how it isn't obvious which one is my house...I dont know how to make it anymore clear

I google the address in maps and zoom in so see it. If I can’t easily find it. I cancel before I pickup order.

Imagine how people successfully delivered food prior to mobile phones. Then understand you are doing too much now.

As a Dasher, I take FULL picture of the door that I deliver as well as the house number if I can fit it in with the order. Doordash just never keeps the good pictures taken to help the next dasher

Apartments suck to deliver too, but after years of doing it, I memorize every single apartment building in my city

A screenshot of your actual spot on your property maybe? And have you add where entrance is, hate following the map that takes you to a chained cancelled exit

Can’t you just look at the ping that puts you directly in front of drop off??

A dasher community-voted note would be a great QoL feature for apartments and multi-suite buildings. “Was this Dasher added note helpful/ accurate?” Get enough votes and tack it onto the delivery instructions. Build it into the existing optional thumb up/down prompt. If it’s gonna be an annoying prompt after deliveries, it mind as well be helpful.
