someone with no money has to validate the 100$. because thats 15 hours of their labor. someone with tons of money doesn't care about 10k because its 1 second of their "labor" its not about useless questions its about justifying trading labor for said item. there is only a small % of people who wouldn't pause for a 10k purchase of some random item. without context of what said item is you cannot validate that someone would or wouldn't buy it. his take isn't inaccurate but its vague & poorly funded.

the less something cost the easier it is to sell. all the justification basically needs to be baked into the product before you sell it. you could make a basic bike and sell it without much thought into the product. but a $10k bike youd need to find the best parts to justify why it would be that expensive and use the best advertising

Disagree. Most people who are broke are in that position because they are incredibly financially irresponsible with their money, they wouldn’t hesitate to drop $100 on some dumb shit. While a rich person knows how to make the most out of their money and want to make sure they are making the best investment possible
