My sister was hit by an uninsured driver and they refused to take accountability ( pay for the damage ), she sued them and won $75,000 for a vehicle that was only worth maybe $6,000. I don’t understand how people are getting by with driving uninsured

It’s the money part that bothers me. I read her reply to a comment where she says she only has $160 in her account. But if you look back there’s vids of hauls, shopping, concerts… don’t get me wrong- I love shopping too BUT I have responsibilities that come first. The leftover money is the “fun money”

My SUV was totaled by an uninsured driver driving his GF’s car on a suspended license. He totaled her car and mine. State Farm sued him and won. His wages will be garnished for YEARS until he’s able to pay them back. ALWAYS pay for uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage. People are out here fucking around.

Some states will suspend your license for being in an accident while uninsured. They’ll also make you file an SR-22.

I was rear ended before by a driver who was uninsured. Luckily, I paid for uninsured motorists on my policy so I did my claim through my own insurance because I knew the other party wouldn’t pay and I didn’t want to drag it out in court…. But if the other driver doesn’t have that option, she may have to sue Abbie. Just unfortunate because it’ll likely take a while… Abbie definitely could’ve handled this differently. I would be more concerned for the person I hit but maybe that’s just me 🤷🏻♀️
