@cconncept: In February 2012, Australian woman Nicole Graham was riding her horse Astro near Geelong, south of Melbourne, when he became trapped in thick, quicksand-like mud along the coast. As the tide continued to rise, she stayed by his side for three hours, keeping his head above the water to prevent him from drowning. A veterinarian eventually sedated Astro to calm him, allowing rescuers to pull him free just minutes before the tide came in. Both survived the ordeal. #interestingfacts #fact #facts #AnimalFacts #horse
