yes they've changed it recently and updated everyone's account under 5k followers to where it's consistent across the board regardless if you had unlimited before. if you're 1k-4999k followers, only allowed 3 shop videos a day and 3 lives per week. gotta get to 5k for unlimitrd

If there's one thing I've learned in my 3 years of being a tiktok shop affiliate, it's to always expect the unexpected. TikTok Shop as a whole is kind of a mess, there are so many glitches, so many rules that only apply to some affiliates while others can get away with saying/doing whatever they want. It's not a fair platform by any means and half the time the people on the back end have no idea what's going on either. The other day thousands of my videos from 2024 and 2025 just disappeared off of my profile (many videos which had still been making sales up until that point) and when I reached out to my star creator manager she just said "oh no, we hear this has been happening to a lot of people, we will look into it" 🫠 I've had friends who had their accounts banned unjustly and lost out on a ton of money they couldn't access because their appeal was denied. basically it's tiktoks world and we are just living in it and its best to get used to be disappointed because that tends to be the norm unfortunately 😭 I'm slowly learning to accept the inconsistencies and that has definitely helped with my anxiety and frustration. At the end of the day it has still changed my life and I am grateful for the opportunity but I sure do wish they would get their sh*t together sometimes.

That really sucks! Maybe when you’re explaining it to the brand let them know you’re interested in selling it to them as UGC in the meantime
