@wkrntv: A man who was convicted of a 2022 murder in Northeast Tennessee has escaped from a prison on the other side of the state, the Tennessee Department of Correction said. According to TDOC, staff at the Northwest Correctional Complex in Lake County confirmed 28-year-old Jacob Morley was unaccounted for at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, sparking an emergency count and search of the facility. Security camera footage reportedly confirmed he breached the perimeter fence and left the facility in his TDOC uniform. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added Morley to the state’s Most Wanted list on Monday, Oct. 26, saying he should be considered dangerous.
