If I was the Sheriff and watched all this go down at a distance. I’ve would’ve put that officer on desk duty, retrain for 4months, psych evaluation for 4months, and possibly suspension for 2months without pay. I would’ve excepted the complaint from the auditor as well videos evidence and watch the body cam too. If the body cam is shut off, it would be immediate termination.
