@ksatnews: Edward Trejo was shot and killed by a neighbor over a noise complaint last December. The man arrested in his death was later released after a grand jury declined to indict him on a murder charge. This Dia de los Muertos, Drejo's mother built an ofrenda in his honor at Muertos Fest in Hemisfair, surrounded by strangers who asked for stickers so they could keep telling his story. She says people from Houston, Austin and as far as Washington have reached out. "He loved to sing, he loved to dance," she said. Hear her full message to the community. It’s crazy my brother took a plea deal of 48 years because the person he was fighting with died but it was self defense. The victims own family even stated to the cops that it was most likely him that started to fight because he was a very violent person. He passed away from the injury’s he sustained from the fight they had.. but my brother took the plea deal because he was scared. The jury wasn’t gonna be fair. And this also happened in SANANTONIO TX, Texas
