Same! Like when it’s treated like some perk to have “pre-boarding”? Why??? Unless you’re disabled or have little kids and strollers, I don’t see why anyone else would want to he crammed into the plane any longer than normal!

Believe it or not the air is considerably cleaner inside of the airplane which uses HEPA filters that clean 99%+ of dust, bacteria, and viruses. Air inside of the airplane cabin is fully filtered and refreshed every 2-3 minutes. The air inside an airport terminal is far dirtier which use conventional HVAC system and exposes you to many more potential contaminants/travelers coming from contaminated areas.

Just hate losing the overhead space :( have you also considered headstraps for flights or something with a tighter seal? I always go for dragers for flights with a sip mask so I can drink as the fit/seal for earloops is low esp for high risk environments. I used to buy readimask as well before dragers coz it sealed all the way around with medical grade adhesive so no loops or headstraps

It’s all fun and games until your carry on doesn’t fit and they make you check your bag because too many people ahead of you brought theirs. I used to wait too, but it cost me more time on the back end waiting an additional 15-20mins for luggage.

It’s called shared air . In closed environments you inhale about 3% of the moisture other people exhale.
