Robin Williams often improvised his scenes on set, bringing his natural humour and creativity to his role. Director Peter Weir even arranged an unscripted filming session to capture his talent, including a scene where Williams impersonated John Wayne and Marlon Brando while teaching Shakespeare. Co-star Ethan Hawke later recalled that watching Williams go off-script taught him that acting could be playful and unpredictable, with Weir encouraging his creativity as long as the scenes retained their meaning. 🎥: Dead Poets Society (1989) ———— #deadpoetssociety #robinwilliams #ethanhawke #robertseanleonard #cinema
