@bseizurefree: On top of riding Tow Mater, puzzles and Connect 4s have always been helpful tools in B’s recovery after seizures. We probably own a few hundred wooden puzzles in all shapes, sizes, and themes. Most of them are vintage puzzles I’ve found at consignment shops. 🧩 What amazes me is how B has them grouped in his mind. If he asks for one specific puzzle, I know to pull out the group he likes to complete together. And don’t worry… if I forget to grab one from his puzzle closet, he makes sure to let me know using his AAC device! 😂 I’ve labeled the containers for him, although I haven’t added pictures to them yet. B is such a smart kid, and the way he organizes things in his mind and learns tasks so quickly never stops amazing me. I know once I get those buckets correctly labeled he will be able to pull the correct puzzle bins. ❤️ It’s little things like these that remind me how much he understands and how uniquely his mind works.
