For so many years, I dreamed of living in LA, but I constantly had people in my ear telling me how expensive it was and how I wouldn’t be able to survive. Eventually, I got tired of listening to everyone else’s fears and decided to take a leap of faith. I booked a one way flight for myself and my boys with just $747 to my name and no job, and guess what…I went on to live in LA for SIX YEARS, and they were some of the BEST years of my life! I got into the best shape of my life, went hiking, explored beautiful places, and met some of the most free spirited, genuine people who were motivated, goal oriented, and passionate about living life to the fullest. The organic food options, amazing restaurants, shopping, outdoor activities, and overall lifestyle made it such a beautiful experience. LA isn’t for everyone, and yes, it can be expensive, but it’s also a place full of opportunities and experiences you won’t find everywhere. If you’re someone with big dreams, ambitious goals, and a desire to experience something different in life, I say GO FOR IT! Don’t let other people’s fears become the reason you never pursue your own dreams. Sometimes, you have to stop talking about it, take that leap of faith, and bet on YOURSELF!
