i worked for a good friend, i came in so ambitious, wanting to kick start his social media, making custom videos, graphics, eventually working for his second company aswell building custom software, sunning his support team , marketing social media , compliance i did it all, but he never ever thought to give raises or promotions , you over time eventually lose motivation and just resent it.....and now he wonders why i just dnt care as much

I did my first job very well up until I got pulled across 5 departments as a reward for my efforts, and received no compensation for taking on 4 peoples workloads so I took all my holidays at once and handed in my notice.

That’s crazy find a job that will fight for you or at least management that will I’ve gotten 3 raises in 1 year due to my boss fighting for me I might be doing 3 peoples jobs but I’ve almost doubled my salary
