Brewing over ice doesn’t taste the greatest imo, it gets watery very quickly since it’s a very hot liquid coming from the machine. I would put your sweetener of choice in a cup. Maple syrup, brown sugar, flavoured syrup etc, then brew the espresso over that. Add your milk, then mix with a spoon. Lastly add the ice. And a lot of ice is better than a little, it keeps the drink cold and not watered down.

Here’s some tip: brew the coffee, while it’s hot mix your sweetener of choice, then add milk to cool off the coffee and then add ice….works like magic. Also try the “Bianca doppio” pods too. One of their bests.

I usually brew the espresso into a small espresso cup and melt the Splenda into that - if you like foam I usually just froth the actual espresso alone and then pour it over the ice/milk in the cup as the last step for the coffee shop iced latte vibe
