I’m not bipolar, but from a quick look into the difference between 1 and 2, they seem like quite different experiences, so unless that bipolar 2 person is a medical professional, I think it makes sense that you would not necessarily want their advice.

Hot take Bipolar ppl should not give each other advice bipolar 1 is very different to manage with due to rare manic episodes that makes them overly happy or hold onto anger a lot more unlike bipolar 2 where theyre depressed damn near 24/7 bc their episodes occurs a lot more which means they don’t understand the living of each other so it’s not snotty for being angry abt this 🫩
