I come from a place where saying "Bismillahi-r-Rahmani-r-Rahim" is the norm. Was always saying this until recently where I shortened the saying to just "Bismillah". And after 2 months this video shows up... Subhanallah

@aliensbuiltthepyramids: The interesting thing is Imam Il Azam Abu Hanifa Rahimahullahutala’s opinion is that the “بسم الله " is part of the Quran Kareem but not of every surah. It’s just used to differentiate between the different surahs in the mushaf. For example, for Surah Al Fatiha, his opinion is it isn’t the first ayat like Imam as Shafi Rahimahullahutala says it is. So for Surah at Tawba, the hanafis state two reasons; one that it opens with tidings of punsihement, and second the ayats are so similar to the Surah before it, there is confusion if Surah at Tawba is a separate Surah or not. According to Imam Abu Hanifa Rahimahullahutala, the only time where it is part of the Surah is in Surah an Naml. If my memory serves me well, that’s how it is. And the opinion of Imam Malik Rahimahullahutala is similar.
