@american.news.67: Trump Says He Would Veto Bills if Democrats Win Congress Speaking to reporters at the White House, President Trump said he expects Republicans to win the midterms, but that if Congress ends up in gridlock, “I veto everything, and then the Democrats come and they want to make a deal.” He described his approach as “veto, veto, veto” until lawmakers come asking how to get things done. A presidential veto can be overridden with a two-thirds vote in both the House and the Senate. Trump has vetoed two bills in his second term. The midterm elections are on November 3. #usnews #unitedstatesofamerica #trump
