The first category of the Ballon d'or requires individual performance. He mate not been the top player in all this tournament because he's trophyless. But theres no denying he's the Best Player In The World right now.

I don't understand Mbappe serious , all real Madrid players are not even in top 10 but yena njeeee must win without a single trophy.

If we should award the ballon d'or because of goals then goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders don't stand a chance mos 🤷

I think you got a point, you have to win something in either domestic or international competition, for example be the best player in one or two competitions.

In all the competition he participated in Mpappe was one of the best player, yes he did not win any major trophy with his club but Mbappe is the best player.

This award lost credibility when Haaland didn't win after winning several trophies and broke multiple records in England. 🚮

As long as we continue to confuse the Ballon DOR with Trophies we will always be shocked. We are looking for the best player with best attitude and discipline along contributions not Trophies. Halaand won Treble and we were invincible in the champions league and he still did not win it.
