@mortgagefreeleigh: 🎂 Party Bags 🎂 Ok, I know that the kids love the party bags with all the tiny plastic things and I know you can get them super cheap online BUT hear me out… What if we did more sustainable but still budget friendly party bags?! We haven’t done a tiny plastic party bag for a while and I’m seeing more people move towards different ideas and I love it! This year I did sweet cones (provided by the venue as part of his party package) in a B&M paper bag, with a 50p pot of Playdoh and a book from The Works for less than £1. The total cost for these budget party bags was £2 and honestly, you could just do the book alone and save even more money!! 🎉 So would you try this kids party bag idea? What other ideas have you done that aren’t plastic fidgets?! could have saved your money on the bags and bought a reel of ribbon to just tie the sweet cones to the play doh!

You need some bigger bags for the books! Other than that looks great [Starry hearts]

Oh it sounds lovely. The amount of tat in the goody bags is horrible. I bet most parents just put them straight into bin.
