All this noise, it’s not taking into consideration one simple fact. Driving in the left lane you’re in with the trucks. You want to drive at 65mph. You’re happy to stay left. Where the frustration comes in is when you want to move to the middle lane to overtake the truck. It becomes hard work. Drivers see you indicate and speed up to prevent you coming out. Or cars so close to each other there’s no gap. So after 30 minutes of utter frustration you say fook it I’m staying in the middle lane..

It won't get better until the fines are actually issued for this. The rule should be simple, if an overtake hadn't or couldn't occur in 20 seconds and the lane to your left was clear to move into and wasn't splitting into a different destination, you receive the fine.

You need to have the Police doing their job first 🤬, every night on the M25 I sit in Lane 1 cruise set at 72 which is 70 GPS speed with the middle lane hoggers oblivious at 60 - 65 🧐

Come on they're not often doing 70 in the middle, not careful or steady. They're going under mostly but vary speed not steady and definitely not careful.

needs to add that all lanes are 70mph, there is no fast or slow lanes. gantry signs should show " if you're not overtaking, keep left"
