No one ever talks about jeans development has some of the best character development because at the start he was selfish and, in my opinion, a really realistic character. He mostly cared about himself and wanted to live a safe and easy life but as the story goes on everything he experiences starts to change him. Towards the end his redemption shows how much he has grown as a person and how he starts putting other people before himself. He goes from being someone who mainly thinks about his own survival to someone who is willing to risk himself for others, which makes his character development feel really meaningful.
